Es war wirklich richtig gut und nicht ganz so teuer wie die restlichen „Touri-Spots“. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Coco Prawn Curry ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen (unter anderem auch nicht scharf für alle die‘s mal nicht so spicy haben wollen auf Sri Lanka, falls dus doch scharf willst gibts auch eine scharfe Sauce dazu die an den Tisch gebracht wird). Super endroit pour bosser ou bruncher 💻☕️ Endroit vraiment sympa, le café est excellent (mention spéciale au matcha 💚) et le brunch est top aussi. L’ambiance est détendue, la déco agréable, et c’est parfait pour travailler au calme tout en profitant d’un bon repas. This place is a real hidden gem. It’s slightly tucked away from the main road, which makes it incredibly peaceful — you can barely hear any traffic at all. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, perfect whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, brunch, or enjoying a lovely outdoor dinner. The food is absolutely delicious. Everything is well prepared and full of flavor, but the lemon mahi mahi is a must-try — truly outstanding and highly recommended. What makes this spot even better is that it’s also ideal for working. There’s a dedicated coworking room, making it a perfect choice if you’re looking for a quiet place to focus while enjoying great food and a welcoming environment. De loin mon café préféré à Weligama. Le lieu est génial, avec une jolie terrasse, avec aussi un espace de coworking. La food est juste parfaite. Les managers prennent vraiment soins de choisir des produits de qualités, que ce soit niveaux nourriture et aussi niveau coffee shop. J’adore me rendre la bas, et je ne peux que recommander d’aller faire un ou plusieurs tours la bas quand vous êtes ici ❤️ ~ Lolita C

I discovered Plan B towards the end of my stay in Weligama, and it instantly became my favourite place to work. The setting is fantastic and has different seating options - personally I loved the low tables with cushions. Their coffee is excellent, and their decaf deserves a special mention. It’s hard to find truly good decaf, but their decaf oat milk latte quickly became my absolute favourite. The food is fresh, delicious, and well balanced. For anyone from Europe craving a proper green summer salad like back home, this is the place. The prices are in the same range as Nomads or other more tourist oriented places - slightly higher than local spots, but totally justified by the quality, freshness, and atmosphere. And don’t leave without trying the cheesecake - it’s to die for! ~ Sabrina B

Endroit très agréable, chill, où on est bien accueillis. On mange également très très bien ! J’ai pris un smash burger et en tant qu’experte de burgers je peux dire qu’il est délicieux ! Je conseille également le Mango Mojo bowl qui est frais et savoureux. On peut se poser pour travailler, il y a des prises, un bon Wifi, mais aussi un espace de coworking. Wir waren im Plan B zum Lunch und es hat uns super gefallen, es ist wirklich zu empfehlen! Die Gerichte haben, wie alle Restaurants Nähe des Strandes, Touristische Preise aber die Portionen machen satt, die Drinks sind sehr lecker und der Service ist der beste und freundlichste den wir bisher in Weligama hatten. Stayed for a week in a hostel and used also coworking and will continue using coworking for some time. Cafe/restaurant - food is super delicious and its worth its price. I especially love their coffee which i would say is better than in many places in europe ive been to. Coworking - you can use their wifi in cafe area for free or use coworking area with ac and fast internet for a fee. Coworking place is nice, cosy and you are also able to order anything in there. Hostel: Small dorm with comfortable beds and its mostly quiet place which i like. Love the showers under the open sky. The best thing is super friendly staff working there and the owners who run the place. Can only recommend to anyone looking for good coffee, food or place to work from ~ Jakub Z

האנשים פה הכי נחמדים ושירותים שפגשתי. יעשו הכל כדי שתצאו מסופקים ושמחים. טעמתי לראשונה את המאכל hopper התלבטתי עם המלצר והוא הסביר הכי בנחמדות מה שיש בפנים ולאחר שקיבלתי הציע לי אפילו עוד אפשרויות מגניבות לטעום את המנה- הביא לי סוגי חריף בקיצור מקום מקסים ושירותי ואני ממש ממש ממליצה עליו הכל פה טעים ומוגש מהמם לעין. ~ סיון ג

Wirklich schöner und entspannter Ort, der zentral liegt aber durch die Lage in einem gemütlichen Hinterhof, ruhig und schattig ist. Der Staff und der Besitzer sind äußerst freundlich und darüber hinaus kann man fantastisch essen! Auch Kaffeeliebhabern kann dieses Café definitiv empfohlen werden. Co prawda nie korzystałem z coworking ale widziałem jak to jest przygotowane. Sporo osob tam pracowało. my tylko korzystaliśmy z restauracji. Po ponad 2 tygodniach na Sri Lance to miejsce od razu przypadło mi do gustu:) duży wybór dan od tradycyjnych lankijskich bo hamburgery i pyszne tosty z awokado. Если ресторану я поставлю крепкую 4, то коворкингу - уверенные 5 из 5. Единственный работающий в не сезон коворкинг. Небольшой. Но интернет стартовый стабильный. Внутри разная рабочая тихая обстановка, кондиционер, принтер, вода. 4к в день или 35к за 20 дней. Единственное место, где интернет работает не для галочки. Kurz: tolles Lokal! Guter Kaffee und leckeres Essen. Zimmer hatten wir hier nicht, daher nicht bewertet. Lang: ich finde das Ambiente im Innenhof gemütlich und wirklich ideal. Es lädt zum Verweilen ein und es gibt eine riesige Auswahl an Getranken und Speisen. Hier könnten wir den Regen abwarten uns satt essen und in Ruhe eine richtig gute Zeit haben. Ich war rundum begeistert! Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und lädt direkt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Das Essen war ausgesprochen lecker – frisch zubereitet, liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich einfach top. Besonders positiv ist mir aufgefallen, wie aufmerksam und freundlich der Service war. Была в данном кафе. Очень вкусный кофе и десерты. Прекрасное место как для отдыха, так и для работы. Персонал очень вежливый, и даже предусмотрели то, что по вечерам активничают комары. С заботой о своих гостях, персонал приносит сам спрей от Комаров, что очень важно для комфорта. Спасибо за отношение! Обязательно вернусь! ~ Анастасия К

Une expérience incroyable au Plan B ! La nourriture était tout simplement excellente, chaque plat parfaitement maîtrisé. Le service est à la hauteur : attentionné, professionnel, avec un vrai souci du détail. Mention spéciale pour les boissons – probablement les meilleures que nous ayons goûtées au Sri Lanka. Wir waren hier einmal zum Lunch und einmal zum Frühstück. Wir hatten die Acai Bowls, die Panini und die Yellow Mellow Bowl und jeweils Cappuccino. Beide Male hat es uns richtig gut geschmeckt und auch das Ambiente war sehr angenehm. Die Preise sind etwas höher aber für diese Qualität und auch die Portionen absolut in Ordnung. Café Plan B wasn’t part of our original itinerary—it was a spontaneous decision, a true "Plan B" in every sense (pun totally intended!). As a family of four, we stopped by for breakfast and were warmly welcomed. Though it’s known as a coworking space, it’s so much more than that. Sure, we spotted people working on laptops, but the vibe was lively and inclusive—at one point, the whole café joined in clapping and singing "Happy Birthday" for a group celebrating their friend’s special day. A quick tip: the portions are generous! One dish can easily be shared between two people. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is quick, and the overall experience was delightful. Without a doubt, I’d recommend Café Plan B—whether you’re looking for a workspace, a family meal, or just a great spot to unwind. ~ Den

Przepyszne jedzenie i świetna obsługa. Dodatkowo jak podjechaliśmy skuterem oparzyłam się o rurę w moim skuterze. Pracownicy szybko zareagowali i dali mi butelkę lodowatej wody, kostki lodu by ochłodzić oparzone miejsce. Na sam koniec dali również świeży liść aloesu, który świetnie działa na oparzenia. Jeszcze raz dziękuję bardzo wszystkim 😄❤️ ~ Wiktoria L
